Our teaching hospital is a 700 bedded tertiary care hospital with a dedicated team of highly qualified and experienced specialists. The SGMC hospital offers a range of clinical specialties, modern diagnostic facilities and all the amenities of a multi-specialty hi-tech modern hospital.
The students gains clinical experience through block postings at the various specialities of Sree Gokulam medical College. The hospital provides treatment on various specialties such as Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Dermatology, Psychiatry, Paediatrics, Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology, ENT, Anaesthesiology, Radiology and Emergency Services, laparoscopic surgery. Super-specialty departments include Cardiothoracic, Neurology, Nephrology, Pulmonology, Gastroenterology, Endocrinology and Neurosurgery.
The students also gain clinical experience from affiliated institutions. They are Government Mental Health centre, Peroorkada, Trivandrum for Mental Health nursing, Government district hospital, Thycaudu, Trivandrum for Obstetrics & Gynaecological nursing, Taluk hospital,Nedumangadu, Trivandrum for Paediatric nursing, Government PHC for Community Health nursing and Obstetrics & Gynaecological nursing.
